Nestled in our cozy backyard space, you can enjoy an intimate gathering surrounded by beautiful landscaping and the soothing sounds of a water feature. With a spacious lounge sectional, two tables, and large umbrellas for shade, it’s an ideal spot to kick back with up to 16 friends and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere while still being close to all the excitement.

Host a more intimate party by reserving our extra-large outdoor lounge sectional, perfect for groups of up to 16. You’ll get two tables, giant umbrellas for shade, and a guaranteed spot to kick back and enjoy the vibe. The Front Yard Deck Lounger keeps you close to all the action—the yard games, fire pits, Tree Bar, and even the ice shot bell—so you’re never far from the fun.

This spot is perfect for groups of 25 to 60 people! You’ll have your own covered section of the deck, complete with up to six long bench tables. It’s super close to the back bar, yard games, and our board game wall, and you’ll even have a cocktail server to take care of your drinks. Whether you’re going for buffet-style food or ordering à la carte, the Corner Grill is right nearby, making it easy to grab whatever you’re in the mood for.

Our Food Package Options
At the Yard, you have two delicious ways to enjoy your food experience. Choose from ordering directly at our on-site food truck, The Corner Grill, for a more casual bite, or opt for one of our convenient food packages. These packages offer a family-style buffet served at your reserved area so you and your guests can savor great food without having to leave your event. Event Space FAQs
You don’t need a reservation to enjoy The Yard, Detroit Axe, or The Corner Grill—walk-ins are always welcome, and all non-reserved spaces are open seating. However, if you’re planning to come with a group, reserving an area guarantees you a spot to relax and enjoy The Yard. Plus, for weekend reservations, your approved guest count can skip the line and avoid the $10 entry fee by simply showing a unique QR code at the door.
All the fun amenities like cornhole, giant beer pong, and fireplaces are first-come, first-serve. You can also grab games from our board game library to enjoy outside. As for axe throwing at Detroit Axe, you can either walk in (depending on availability) or make a reservation for a guaranteed time slot.
All individual food orders are placed at The Corner Grill food truck, but your reserved space will have a cocktail server to handle drinks for your group. If you’d rather have food served family-style, you can add a food package to your booking. This way, your guests can skip the line at The Grill and enjoy buffet-style food right at your table.
Gratuity for food and drink orders is included, whether the host is covering the tab or guests are paying individually. While we prefer not to split bills, we’re happy to accommodate what works best for your group. We’ll also track your orders to make sure the food and beverage limit is met, with any shortfall being the booker’s responsibility.
We understand that we can’t control the weather, which is why you can cancel your event for a full refund up to 18 hours before it starts. Please note that we can’t guarantee an alternative indoor space in case of bad weather. If you miss the cancellation window, we’ll do our best to help you reschedule or find a solution.
